Founded in 2012 on the shores of the Swiss Riviera, in Lausanne, L'Écrin quickly established itself in the field of luxury watchmaking. In 2018, the company moved its headquarters to Geneva, in the prestigious banking district, rue du Stand, where it opened its first point of sale. This location has allowed L'Écrin to build a privileged relationship with local and international customers. In 2024, the company took a new strategic turn by setting up near the famous Rue du Rhône, in the heart of major Geneva retailers. Now located at 7 rue François Versonnex, with an office offering a breathtaking view of the jet d'eau, L'Écrin continues to embody watchmaking excellence.
The Founder: Jérôme Meignan
At the head of L'Écrin and Rivierawatch is Jérôme Meignan, a passionate watchmaker recognized for his expertise. With extensive experience in the restoration of antique watches, Mr. Meignan has oriented his career towards sales in order to share his passion for exceptional timepieces. A specialist in major Swiss watch companies, he is distinguished by his ability to transmit his knowledge and enthusiasm to enthusiasts and collectors alike. Our Commitments and Working Methods
At L'Écrin, we are committed to offering an irreproachable service, based on transparency and rigor. Each watch we offer comes with its original papers, except for models that are over 20 years old, for which we require a clear and verifiable history. We always provide a purchase invoice, the necessary customs documents, as well as a record in our official register, in accordance with Geneva standards. This rigorous process contributes to the fight against the trafficking of stolen watches and guarantees exemplary traceability.
We also collaborate with manufacturers to ensure total transparency and compliance with international standards. The identity document of the previous owner is systematically requested, and each transaction is subject to a clear and detailed contract.
