GMT-Master II capable of simultaneously displaying three time zones thanks to the traditional combination of the rotating bezel and the 24-hour hand, combined with an independently adjustable short hand. This is the second generation Ref.16710 model, which appeared in 1988 to replace the previous Ref.16760 model. With the popularity of the GMT-Master II, the traditional GMT-Master ceased production in 2000. At that time, the two-tone blue and red bezel and the monochrome black bezel, which existed only on the Ref.16700, were inherited by this Ref.16710. From then on, the Ref.16710 could choose between three types of bezels: the traditional two-tone black and red, the two-tone blue and red, and the monochrome black.
