With the popularity of the GMT-Master II, the traditional GMT-Master ceased production in 2000, but at that time, the blue and red two-tone bezel as well as the black monochrome bezel that existed only on the Ref.16700 were inherited by the Ref.16710, and thereafter the Ref.16710 could be chosen between three types of bezels: the traditional black and red two-tone, the blue and red two-tone, and the black monochrome.
